Single Serve Edible Brownie Batter -keto cake walk-

This is the perfect recipe for when you need a chocolate fix ASAP! This single serve edible brownie batter is totally decadent and is ready in just 5 minutes. Plus it has a whopping 7.7 grams of protein in this one small bowl!

I love a cookie dough. It’s a childhood obsession that’s never left me. And while raw eggs never kept me from snitching from the bowl when my mom would make her famous chocolate chip cookies, if I’m going out of my way to eat cookie dough or brownie batter, I’d rather leave those out.

Years ago, I shared my single serve peanut butter cookie dough, and I still make that literally every week at least. But sometimes ya girl wants to change it up without adding extra effort. Enter…

Edible Brownie Batter

Same general idea, just made richly chocolatey. Tastes like your favorite brownie batter, just without the salmonella risk. And did I mention the protein in here? I love desserts with great macros.

Ingredients

  • Butter- feel free to sub coconut oil if you’re dairy free.
  • Almond butter – This acts as the base. If you can’t do almonds, feel free to use sunbutter. Or add some interest and use tahini!
  • Allulose syrup – To get the brownie batter consistency, we’re using a liquid sweetener instead of a granulated one. I like allulose syrup, but any sticky sugar-free sweetener should work here. If you’d like to make your own allulose syrup, combine 1.5 cups allulose and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring until allulose is fully dissolved. Cool.
  • Cocoa powder – I use natural cocoa here, but dutch process would also work if that’s what you have.
  • Chocolate ChipsPascha 85% dark chocolate chips are the absolute best chocolate chips I’ve ever had, but they can run expensive. You can get them on Amazon but sometimes they’re cheaper from the Pascha website. When I don’t feel like spending that money, the dark chocolate allulose-sweetened chocolate chips from Trader Joe’s are my second favorite. And of course there’s always the keto classics like Lily’s or Choczero.
  • Flaky sea salt to finish, if you’re a little salty like me. This is totally optional.

The Method

A bowl containing butter, almond butter, allulose syrup, and cocoa powder.

This part is a little tricky so take note: put all the ingredients except the chocolate chips and flaky salt and mix it up together with a fork in a small bowl or ramekin. I know, I know. It’s complicated, but I believe in you.

Stir in the chocolate chips and then finish with a little sprinkle of salt if it floats your boat.

All the heart eyes over this, you guys. 😍 This will satisfy all your chocolate cravings all while giving you a boost of protein (and 6.4 grams of fiber!!) without tasting remotely healthy.
