It’s almost Game Day, and I know you all are going to or hosting parties to watch all those new commercials. And maybe some of you are even interested in the football. Either way, game day parties are all about them snacks, so I rounded up some fantastic options for keto tailgating food.
Sometimes parties can be overwhelming for people following a ketogenic diet, but they don’t have to be! Whether you’re hosting your own party or bringing a dish to share, there are fantastic options for tailgating while keeping it keto. And your non-keto friends won’t even know!
Keto Tailgating Food
Let’s get to the recipes!
Tandoori Chicken Wings
These Tandoori Chicken Wings are a fantastic twist on classic chicken wings and have an amazing yogurt dipping sauce that will have your guests coming back for more.
Sweet & Spicy Kielbasa Bites
We are totally obsessed with kielbasa at our house so I was SO excited to see these Sweet & Spicy Kielbasa Bites by Carolyn over at All Day I Dream About Food. Sweet, spicy, smoky, AND cooked in your slow cooker? Umm, yes please and thank you!
Chili Cheese Dip
This recipe for Keto Chili Cheese Dip is one of my family’s favorites. It’s super versatile and you can provide a ton of different options for dipping based on you and your guests’ preferences! Also it’s crazy easy to make.
Need a cast iron skillet? I love this one.
Keto Cheddar Jalapeño Meatballs
Meatballs are a game day staple, and these Cheddar Jalapeño Meatballs take your meatball game to the next level. Sharp cheddar and jalapeños combine to make these meatballs packed with flavor, and a serving of 4 meatballs has less than 1g net carbs! Count me in!
Jalapeño Poppers
OMG, how gorgeous are these? These Jalapeño Poppers might be one of the biggest bangs for your buck in terms of amount of work for what you get. This recipe is so simple and that bubbly cheese is calling my name. A keto tailgating win right here!
Taco Cups
Keto Taco Cups are the perfect tailgating food. This recipe can scale up or down without any trouble and you can let your guests put whatever toppings they like in their cups. Plus they’re stinking adorable.
Roasted Capsicum Dip
Move over, ranch, ya basic! This dip made with roasted red peppers, cream cheese, and spices makes for a simple but flavorful dip for veggies or your favorite low carb cracker, and is way cooler than some store-bought dip.
Nachos, baby.
Low Carb Nachos were one of my first game day recipes on this site and my kids are obsessed with them. “Can we have chips for dinner?” Yes. Yes you can.
Sausage Dip
This Sausage Dip is full of both sausage and cheese, along with tomatoes and jalapeño. Only 5 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes on the stove gets you this lovely pan of hot keto tailgating goodness. The best part is, you can make it ahead and reheat it right before guests arrive!
I love these Epic Pork Rinds for dipping in any of the dips on this list!
Cheese Bread
This Low Carb Cheese Bread has never failed me at a party. It always gets gobbled up within minutes. Double the recipe if you have a large group!
Bonus: Chocolate Peanut Butter Footballs
After all the wings, meatballs, and dips, you and your guests might want a sweet finish. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Footballs are a super cute way to end the night. They can be made ahead and kept in the fridge for a few days, so there’s no need to take time on party day.
If making little footballs is too fussy for you, you can also just make these into Peanut Butter Bars for a super easy and addictive dessert (without any sweetener!)
